Welcome to The Art of Living Retreat Center
The beautiful Art of Living Retreat Center is nestled high in the Blue Ridge Mountains near Boone, North Carolina.
Upon arrival, you will check in to your hotel room and find everything you need on-site, including 3 daily vegetarian meals served in the dining hall and all workshops in a private space for our group.
You'll also have free time for complimentary yoga classes, meditation, quiet hiking trails, or to schedule Ayurveda spa services (additional fee).
Both single and shared rooms are available for our group on the retreat campus.
Many premium rooms offer incredible vistas of the Blue Ridge Mountains, along with expected hotel room amenities.

Meet Molly
Molly McCord, M.A., is a bestselling author, intuitive astrologer, modern consciousness teacher and podcaster with over 6 million downloads who has studied and practiced Western Tropical astrology for over 30 years.

HOW MUCH ASTROLOGY DO I NEED TO KNOW?
It is important to know the basics of your chart, as well as the language of astrology by signs, planets, houses, and aspects. Beginners are welcome if they have this knowledge. We want you to get the most out of this program without being overwhelmed, so please trust what feels comfortable for you.
I AM NEW TO HUMAN DESIGN. WILL I BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND THIS SYSTEM?
Yep! We will be focusing on the basics, and building from there, so you can follow along and understand what is important for you. You can get a free Human Design chart at JovianArchive.com. There is a lot to comprehend within the Human Design System, so you will need to continue studying and learning beyond what is presented. Go here to get started.

WILL THIS EVENT BE LIVESTREAMED AS WELL?
No, there will not be a Livestream of this live event. We may have it available as an online course sometime in the future, but that is not certain yet.
ARE ALL MEALS INCLUDED?
Yes, 3 daily vegetarian meals are served, starting with dinner on the day of arrival, to lunch on the day of departure.
IS INTERNET ACCESS PROVIDED?
Yes, free Wi-Fi is available on the retreat campus.
IS OUTSIDE ALCOHOL AND FOOD ALLOWED?
To encourage a healthy environment, we ask that guests not consume alcohol or meat in our public spaces. However, guests may enjoy these items in their rooms. That being said, our property is always smoke-free.
DO YOU HAVE REFRIGERATORS IN THE ROOMS?
Yes, private refrigerators are available in your hotel room style accommodations.
WHAT IS THE CLOSEST AIRPORT?
There are several airports within driving distance from the Art of Living Retreat Center:
- Charlotte-Douglas International Airport (CLT) in Charlotte, NC (100 miles)
- Tri-Cities Regional Airport (TRI) in Johnson City, TN (80 miles)
- Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO) in Greensboro, NC (110 miles)
The Hickory Hop shuttle goes from Charlotte airport to Boone five times daily. The cost is $120 each way or $240 roundtrip per person. Please mention you are going to the Art of Living Retreat Center in Boone.
Reservations are required, so book ahead by contacting them directly at 828-327-2340.
Be sure to confirm shuttle times coordinate with your travel plans.
IS THE PROPERTY ADA-COMPLIANT?
Because our campus sits on top of a mountain, it’s important to note the grounds are spacious and hilly. While the entire campus is walkable and accessible, you may encounter terrain that is difficult for those in wheelchairs or with mobility issues.
We have some grandfathered buildings without elevators but offer numerous ADA-compliant lodging and event venues accessible to all. Please call Reservations (800.392.6870) in advance so we can best accommodate your needs.
To ensure easy access between buildings, we also offer free shuttles that make frequent rounds. And, you may contact Guest Services at any time to schedule a shuttle pick-up or drop-off to any part of the campus.
